Been there done that i recently bought a 02 grizzly 660 red it was sun faded so bad couldnt even tell it was red, if you clean it off with brake cleaner or any cleaner... i used paint thinner, then take a brand new razor blade hold it at a slight angle towards you then push down and drag toward you scraping the plastic do this all over the faded areas until its all the same color then you can either leave it like that or put clear coat on it or use a heat gun and melt the top layer slightly to make it like new hope it helps worked wonders on my griz

This thread is as I figured it would be except for the body shop 3m product idea. That one sounds good. All the others are responses I have been reading for several years on various websites. As usual, no one has mentioned my method and it works AWESOME! Wash plastic, wet sand with 800 grit or higher sandpaper, then spray with clear coat paint. BAM! Works freakin awesome man! Lol - have done about 8 different machines over the years this way.
