I just put a new 36mm carb on my 87lt250r and i think it's too rich, when it's in neutral and most of the gears it doesn't want to rev out all the way,it just spudders out until you shift!?,i think it might be too rich any suggestions would help, what do i rejet it too?

If you are not sure if it is rich or lean, do this, take out our main jet and put a bigger one or two sizes bigger, if the problem gets worse you know for sure you are rich, they you can put in smaller main, one at a time, until it runs good.
Its as simple as turning your gas off, unscrewing the plug from the bottom of the float bowl, unscrewing the main jet and putting a different one in.
