okay, i know im not going to win unless hes a bad rider. Now, read my signiture to see what i have on my LT250R. I wanted to know if i could atleast be close in a drag race, these are like short sprints. And what about when it snows? 4-strokes are easier to get the power down right??? thanks cause my friend is getting a NEW yzf in like 3 days, and i wont be shot down! I dont Know but I have seen the YFZ 450 (Stock) Hang with Banshees with Pipes & Jet Kit and Air filter.
But the shee did win by 1/2 to 1 Quad.

 

Yea, lol, The LT250R sounds faster, lol with the pipe. but do they top out almost the same? both got 5speed, i just hope i could like get to his bumper. 7k, better beat an 86' quaD!

 

I know I was watching a YFZ Drag race a Piped Banshee and a Stock Predator and a Stock DS 650 Today. And the only one that could beat the YFZ was the Shee by 1/2 quad.

 

ive seen the yfz against 250r's (suzuki and honda), banshees and a predator.. he was almost half a track ahead of everyone by the end. But that guy had over $6000 just in the engine. I've seen other yfz's too and they were alot faster than the lt250r.. 800Screws, if you ever go to lembo lake for the flat track races, you'll know who i'm talkin about

 

Thats ok, looks like ill just have to practice on my riding. And one more thing, we just got a trailior for it. Do i just tie it down from the grab bar and the front bumper?

 

Well LT250RFatty if you could hang with a Banshee or beat a banshee with your mods, you have a chance with a Stock Yfz 450 if the rider on the yfz 450 is a beginner. I seen a Piped Banshee, Piped Yfz 450 race. The guy on the Banshee is very experienced (riding his whole life) The guy on the YFz 450 (riding for like 2- 3 years). Dragged race on sand . The banshee beat the yfz ONLY becasue of rider experience.... Switched bikes and riders. The YFZ Piped beat the Piped Banshee.. So its mostly rider experience. If that guy getting the YFZ 450 is a beginer , you can smoke in your Lt250r...

 

A lighter set of rear tire's would help you out too.
