Default Kq 300

I rebuilt the carb and adjusted the valves. This bike will start np when I push on the button. It will rev up fine in neutral, but when I drive it, I get past 1st gear and when I try to open it up in 2nd or 3rd it bogs out and dies.

I put a carb kit in it and cleaned carb

Battery charges fine

I blocked off carb vacuum line and petcock vacuum line, im not sure if my petcock is working correctly, I had sporatic idle before I blocked it off.

The intake boot is fine..

What am I missing? It doesnt blow any smoke or backfire when I shut it off.

Did you readjust your air/idle and mixture screws or just count the amount of turns when you took them out? Mixture screw may need to be readjusted. or you float is out of adjustment or sticking

I'm gonna tear the carb apart again and blow air from a compressor thru it.

I'm also gonna set the needle back to position 3 and start from there. The float seems ok, I havent tried to set it.

I've got it running a little better, does bogging at WOT indicate LEAN or Rich?

It would run until about 1/2 throttle and then bog, so I put the needle clip on the 4th from the top, and now it bogs on WOT, as in if I'm trying to get some speed and hold it. It will miss afew times then run, then miss a few times and go back to running fine.

Every time I move the needle I set mixture back to 2 3/4 turns out and start from there. Backing it in, or out does not seem to have any effect, other than making fuel come out of the overflow.

Like its not getting enough gas, or to much? It overflowed once, after that it stopped and hasnt done it. I think it was cause I turned it upside down(the carb)
