hello all. I was wondering when am I supposed to take my z400 in for its first servicing to have the valves adjusted ect. iirc I think the dealer said after I run about 5 tanks of gas threw it. is that about right?

 

first oil change at 100 m or 10 hours. Valves probably within the first 500.

 

thank u for the reply zrock. is there any brands of oil or filter I should stay away from? and is it advisable to use synthetic oil in these?

 

Both my new and old machines I stick with dealer items.. I don't trust the filters from Walmart or canadian tire. Who knows what people have put into them and the boxes look like crap.. that and for the new machine the dealer has a record so I'm covered on warranty if I loose receipt. I run dealer synthetic in all my machines no isdues
