older 250 quadrunner question
hey guys , i have 86-89 250 quadrunner , it runs but hard to start , and i know rings are bad , would the rings cause the starting problem , i mean when cold takes forever to get going , when heated up , starts right up , leave for awhile and then all same again , thanks in advance

May do an compression reading should be 120 to 160 pounds..Im guess tight intake value adj.both vales this could help cold start ups.. if an value is to tight the rocker will hold value open an lil bit an loose compression but once cranked up then cyclinder is already primes so this is why restarts are alot easier until leaks back down an hard starts again..Good Luck
