1987 LT185 Carb/Primer question
Hey guys, I have a quick question that I need some help/suggestions on. A buddy brought me his 87 LT185 because it was leaking gas. I assumed that it was the needle valve because of that being a problem area on these older quads. When he showed me where it was leaking from it turned out to be the weep hole in the bottom of the priming set.
I went ahead and tore the carb down and started the soaking process, but I am not sure what to do about the priming set. It is not something that he has ever used but I don't want to pay 50 bucks to replace it. I cannot find any holes in it, but there has to be one if it just started leaking. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to get one a little cheaper than $50? Can I just block it off? What do you suggest?
Thanks,
Brad
