I just purchased a Suzuki Quad. Can someone help me identify it please? The number on the frame is JS AJ 43A4H2104319. The number on the motor is J411-149464. Is it a 1992? What model is it? Is it a two stroke or 4 stroke?

The serial # that you posted looks to be a 230cc motor. What color are the plastics? Does it have front and rear suspension? Kick start? Pull start? Electric start? Manual clutch? Semi auto clutch?

I doubt it's a 1992 model but it is possible. Post up a pic if you can.

The frame should have a 17 digit vin number. The one you provided only has 16. Check again and we'll go from there.

 

Ok I did a little research. Your vin most likely is JSAAJ43A4H2104319 (double check yours to see if the 3rd and 4th digits are AA).

1st digit: J = Japan
2nd digit: S = Suzuki
3rd digit: A = ?
4th digit: A = ?
5th digit: J = 200-249cc (230cc in your case)
6th digit: 4 = 4 stroke single cylinder
7th digit: 3 = ?
8th digit: A = ?
9th digit: 4 = check digit used to verify the vin is not phony
10th digit: H = 1987 model year
11th digit: 2 = factory(plant) code
12th-17th digits: 104319 = serial (sequence) number

I have a 1985 lt230s. Compare your vin and engine serial # with mine (JSAAJ43A6F2109759, J411-149551). With just the info you have given so far my guess is that you have a 1987 lt230s quadsport.
