Is one chain drive and one shaft drive? or one is electric start and one recoil only? But i think the differance is chain and shaft drive..But not sure but I can check on this 2 day and let you know.

the 230s is a kickstart model and the lt230e is an electric start/ pull start back up. also the E model is an automatic and the S model has a clutch.

Ty vm i wanted to see parts are interchanable. And are the carbs the same.

Most parts are interchangeable. They really are the same machine just different starting and clutch setup. Carbs should be similar also. I would check the microfiche and see if the part numbers are the same.
