I have a 400 eiger 4x4 2004. I had to be pulled in by my son on his Polaris have not heard the end of it. it was running and just died on me and would not start. i feel there is no spark, i lookied at the spark plug wire to look for spark and saw none. i replaced the coil at $80.00 and still no spark. I was told to replace the cdi box $140.00, can anyone tell me if this is right before i spen the money i don't have?

 

Try to borrow another CDI first. May be the pulse coil-not the big black box. It pays to use the factory fault chart and go through it methodically. May only be a poor connection

 

Thanks for the advice, but I do not know anyone with the same fourwheeler. i had the wrong price, it is $570.00, thats crazy.
