lt250ef carb hoses/high idle
I am putting back together my lt250ef and I think the previous owner did not have a better clue on the hoses than I do. I can get my quad to start but it idles really high no matter what adjustments I make to the carb pilot and idle screws. I have the fuel line going into the side of the carb which it should go but the previous owner had the hose coming from the side of the fuel pump to the top of the intake boot. Is this correct. I am assuming this should go to the overflow tube off the side of the carb, but where does the hose comeing from the top of the intake boot hook up to? Thank you for any replies

Well the hose coming from the front of the fuel pump should hook up to the overflow vent on the carb, but I have an outlet comeing out of the top of the intake boot to the head that I do not know where it goes. If there is someone else that is savi with carbs, I noticed that there are four holes on the rim on the intake side of the carb from the the air box. One i can see a clear hole through to the choke on the front and the two of them with different size holes like jets but one of them seems to be blocked off with a brass insert of some sort. Are all three of the bottom holes of the carb supposed to be open. My manual does not show this at all. Thanks for any help.
