For the nerfs anything in your price range will be fine. I like the Pro Armor stuff, but I have to say their upper level nerfs can be a bear to fit, never had an LTR though. As for pretty much anything else, PRM is my fav place to shop.

I like Blingstar for the LTR's. The rodeo x bumper looks oh so cool on it! DG is a good place to go with nerf bars, good quality with a lower price.

I have a blingstar bumper. Lasted about 3 races... I still have Blingstar nerfs and the xc rodeo grab bar though. The nerfs are sweet, but I think there are better choices for a little more $$

well, in that case, I agree with Scooter. I would go with pro-armor. For the width problem, it looks like ATV Four Play may be able to help you out. ATV FOUR-PLAY - third product down the page.

In all fairness, the Blingstar bumper was being used to haul me out after an engine catastrophy, but it fell apart as if it was made of butter. I ran a Pro Armor bumper for a LONG time before it finally gave up the ghost when I tried using it to catch my brothers quad from crashing down a hill(oops!) That one is actually still serviceable, but I had to bend it back into shape, pretty sure it has been weakened significantly now.

I have an LTR450 and all my skid plates and the front brush guard is all Pro Armor. Word of warning the rear diferental skid plate bolt holes have a habit of not lining up so you need a drill press with good aluminum cutting drill bits to get the holes to line up properly. Depends on what your racing if your on the Moto track AMA requires nerf bars, if your doing the endurance race scene then the AMA does not require nerf bars the last I knew; however, they require you install the "Kill Switch" on your quad. I wear high boots and no nerf bars on my quad, your main worry is hitting yourself in the head and upper body with rocks off the front tires so get good body armor, helmet and goggles. As for the "A" arms I still have the factory "A" arms and until they break (if it ain't broke don't F****K with it) I'm not changing them, if you do change them make sure you keep the factory camber (toe out) config on the front tires or your going to change your steering side bite and that may not be pretty.

Last note none of what your looking for is cheap I laid out close to 700.00 for all of my skid plates and front bumper, and just my opinion when it comes to the protection of my quad or my body shopping off the top shelf is the only way to go it could be the difference between a badly damaged quad versis a bent skid plate.

good luck

Well, another option for skinny-ing up your LTR is to buy some different offset wheels from OMF where you can specify your size and offset. But to tell you the truth, paying 1000 bucks for skinny wheels is way more expensive than the skinnier a-arms from ATV Four Play. like scooter said, PRM looks like they have some pretty quality gear for the LTR
