Default 4x4/4x2 Switch Broken! Run 4x4 all time?

Hey guys - What's goin on? Me I was going in the woods yesterday w/my trusty EXCALIBAR EXOCET 200 and I flipped my 4x4/4x2 switch and "snap"- Now the switch just kinda flops...I've yet to take it apart. It's stuck in 4wd. I'm sure i could follow the cable down - I have yet to fool with it. It's best to get advice from professional fixers.

It sounded like it snaped up by the switch- Easy fix? Anybody had this problem? Is it common?

Can I just leave it in 4wd all the time? If I do any precautions I should take? I'm thinking if the switch is gonna break It's best to break on the 4wd side hungh?

I've been hunting twice since then. It's running like it always has. I dont drive it like I stole it. Pretty easy. Im getting old. maybe. Anyway Whatchu guys think?

Any advice from the BEST???

I would think it's fine as long as you're not on pavement.
