LT 80 2nd project
Ok guys... i need piccys for you and they are coming.. im up loading them to my photo site will post link once done..
i got an awesome lt 80 97.. in super condition and my boy has been having loads of fun on it..
the tyres were a bit worn but the seller he could get hold of some good tread tyres for not alot of money. basically I bought the tyres and he gave me the quad they were on for a few pounds more..
its looks a little tatty and is a 93 (tenth digit is a P) im trying to work out if its worth getting it running again....
Can someone look over the pictures and see if ive missed anything and what i am likely to to find wrong with the engine if anything.. (it turns over fine) by moving the belt in the clutch inspection cover by hand..
i m going to need.
handlebars & top clamps
battery
grips
inspection cover
carb boot (split)
front plastics or make my own alloy one
starter motor.
front wheels have play - bearings?
i can get all the bits for about £140 (not including front plastics)
i would like to try and get it going before spending the money so i could borrow my starter battery off my working quad. its the starter motor and battery that are the biggest items at about £100.
thanks Andy
