Default Help pullin my half shaft out - EIGER

Guys I've got my right side axle torn down to the point I'm trying to pull the half shaft out of the 'green egg' thing that's up close to the differential. Any advice on how to get it out and replace it? I pull on it and it's like there is a pin or washer in there. Keeping it from coming out.

I bought an entire half shaft to replace it cause the boot on the outside pulled back and messed up the bearings. I was looking at the one I bought to replace it with and It's straight splines with a small grove in it towarwds the end of the shaft.

How does it come out? How do I put it back in?

Everyone you guys rock - thanks so much for any input and help.

the small grove is for a circlip. when pulling the shaft hold it as straight as possible and use like a slide hammer motion to remove there are kinda a pain to pop out but its a good thing you dont want it popping out on the trail. so make sure when reinstalling to put the circlip on the new shaft.
