lt230ge or lt185 upgrade

I have a LT-F230 (same as the LT230GE but with lo-range), and I dont think it would be possible to add rear suspension to the back. The drive shaft on mine only has a rubber thing for pivoting, and that is close to the rear dif, other than that, it is solid. I think the driveshaft on the GE model may be better because it doesnt have that hi/lo range gearbox between the engine and rear axle, but you may have to do alot of customizing to get that to work with suspension.
The brakes arent too bad to do, mine has hydraulic front drums, and a mechanical rear drum. The rear is completely sealed, and to remove the drum, you have to slide the axle over, and to replace the drum, you have to remove the axle, but that isnt too hard.

thank you. I'm going to check it out today. I hope its in pretty good condition. other than the brakes he said the thing has to be bump started. any idea about the starter or should i just replace the pull start? what do you use your 230 for? just puttin around or what? also, is it safe to assume you know much about the 230?

I dont really know lots, I have had the frame apart to do some welding to it. I got the quad for my Fiance to drive since it has an auto clutch, but she hasnt driven it much, all I have used it for is to pull fallen over trees that fell in my parents acerage (were the quad is stored). I didnt know you could bump start these quads with the auto clutch, mine has no recoil on it, the bolt holes are broken off, there are a few other stripped scews I have found on the motor, but I think my quad has had a hard life.
