i would check the regulator and grounds is where i would start because there the easiest and make sure no wires are bare touching the frame and theres two coils that run the lighting and 1 coil for the ignition if one has a bad connection with the othere i could be loosing power

if your headlight is dim someone probably put a walmart bulb in it that has too high of a watt rating. if you replace it with the correct wattage bulb that it requires it should be bright. its worth checking into anyway

after checking stator out puts, omhs all that ,comparing to the other LT that works fine...i took the the light aPART got the bulb part number .....called a parts store asked them what that light was for ....heres the funny part turns out it was a singnal light bulb for a 90 somthing vw golf i said wtf?but its in a fog light?? .....he said thats what it is........ so thats way it sucks a$$...so replaced it with a HD 55w fog light works nice now but nothing compared to the wifes polaris.....
thanks for all the help now i can seeee.....lol....a little better....
