Have you ever changed out the axle bearings??? If so how hard is it. Do I have to take the engine out and apart or can I do it with just a puller or something?

ah dont think i can help ya on that. i have a feeling the case will need to be split, but maybe not. your best bet would be to pick up a service manual.

I have a service manual and that is what it says to do when the motor is apart. I checked with the local suzuki dealer today and he can get me the U joints for about $25 each so I am just going to change those and the wheel bearings and drive the quad and not worry about the axle bearings. If I ever have to dive into the motor past the cylinder I'll just park it and go find another on craigslist. They're dang good quads but still not worth that much work to me. Thanks for the help though.
