Default LT250R Swingarm

Alright, well i killed my 86 swinger real good (snapped both carrier clamps clean off) and i really want an 87-90 style (i refer to it as a "z400" style) unit. I dont like round carriers no more since i found out just how much fun pinch clamps can be when theyre made of aluminum (i had to tig weld numerous spots prior to my major damage)

what i wanna know is, can i use an 85-87 (24 spline, with the 4 bolt wheel hubs) in an 88-90 (26 spline, with 5 bolt wheel hubs) carrier and swingarm. I would like to do this to broaden my search range instead of just looking for an 87 assembly. my axle is nice and straight, and id love to re use it.

all axles from any year lt250r will work in all axle carriers. but if you use an 85-86 axle you have to use the four lug hubs. and if you use the newer axles you have to use newer hubs. but any axle will swap. i have an 86 lt250r axle in my 87 lt230s. suzuki was real good about all that
