Is it the kick starter that is locked up?If not your piston my be seized try turning the crank.

There are times I wonder what our country is doing. Our involvment over seas, our economy and the current administration. But then I realize we are in the greatest country in the world and the odds have been worse than this before and the will of the American people always seems to prevail in the darkest circumstances.
can it be fix do i need a new piston kit. i had it sitting up for a while and decide to ride it. it was running at first but it sounded lik it was running kinda lean lik there wasnt enuff gas getting to it.so i turned it off but when i tried the second time the kick start locked up on me.
Take spark plug out.Take side case off motor(if setting on bike it will be on your left side).This side case is what your foot will rub while your riding.After you take case off,(make sure bike is in neutral) and try to turn the round flywheel.If it doesnt turn then probably will need to be bored and piston kit if it does turn then we will have to try other things.good luck.Sorry if I'm explaining this like your a little kid but I dont know how much wrenching you have done.
yea if it sounded wierd b 4 locking up the probably new new piston and ring not expensive like the other guy said put it in neutral and try spining flywheel by hand if it doensnt turn theres your problem (new piston set) dont try to force it you can damage the cylinder wall further. take off the top cover of the engine and take a goo look at the piston and cylinder wall
