Default How many 2 stroke die hard over 30 yr old riders are in here??

Let me start off by saying I have been riding for well over 26 years when my dad bought me my first elsinore cr 80.Since then I have had many machines ranging from 125cc's to 500 cc's and I still can't get that 2 stroke blood out of my system.I am 36 years old now and try to ride every weekend. Now that my son is 7 and he has been riding since 4 he follows me wherever I go.I ride a modified 89 lt250r and probably will be buried with it. he rides a 92 lt 80 and it seems that since they banned 2 strokes in the early 90's people have forgotten the potential of these overgrown chainsaw engines. It's funny when my kid and I ride up on old 2 strokes and most people around here have the newer 4 strokes and say why do you still ride those relics.I have nothing against the new 4 strokes at all I agree that suspension technoligy is vastly superior now than 20 years ago and yes 4 strokes are more reliable but man when you get that 2 stroke engine screaming with the powerband open I feel there is no comparison in the riding experience I will eventually get old or older and not be able to ride anymore But hope that the legacy of the 2 stroke engine wont die off and my son can still rip around with a 30 year old machine .Most of the people around here are in there early 20's to late teens am I the only die hard 2 stroke 36 year old left on this planet????????????????????? .

I ride my 4-stroke v-force most of the time but I'll tell you why I still love my old quadzilla. One day where I ride there was a honda 450r wooping up on everybody and yes he did beat my vforce pretty bad so I ask him if he would like to race my other 4-wheeler that I had back at the trailer and he was more than happy to race it. After we raced I think he had a new respect for them old two strokes.I dont think I will ever sell my quadzilla.

I know .I am kinda new to this whole digicam thing.I will post some up soon .I am glad to see that there are still hardcore oldschool riders like me left in the world .I hope that we can pass these fun times to our kids as we watch them grow and teach them to ride safe and responsible. When all else fails at least we can leave our signitures in the world with our 2 stroke tire spins....Merry x-mas to all and keep on ridin.........................Santa should have a QUADZILLA!!!! sorry rudolph.....LOL..................
