Default Suzuki King Quad and Venom 3500 Winch Probs

I ordered the model specific Venom 3500 kit for the King Quad. I have an 06. I did the install, and everything works. But..........the winch uses 2 mounting bolts to mount it to the model specific bracket. When the winch is wound 3/4 of the way in, there is so much cable on the spool that the bolt in front interferes with the cable spooling properly. The cable is supposed to wind from the bottom, not over the top, right? I am not sure what to do.

Venom Outdoors (from Ebay) responded back to me very promptly with an answer. The winch winds over the top in the King Quad specific application. Problem solved. Overall the installation instructions that came with the model specific kit for the 3500 were very good. The bolts to connect the contactor didn't come with the kit, but that was minor. It was also difficult to get the bolts in from underneath to install the contactor on the pre-made spot for the King Quad. That is an issue for any brand contactor though. If I were doing it again I would just use screws from the top to secure it next to the predrilled holes as opposed to bolts in the pre-drilled holes.

Thats strange. I must have to do the same thing. My bolt rubs my cable also. So the fairlead must have to be flipped also, or not?

Good question. I don't know. Anyone else have an idea? I will rewind it over the top tomorrow and see how the cable feeds through. Has anyone put synthetic on a Venom for their King Quad?

After looking at it closer, I flipped the fairlead.
