Welcome to the forum.
So yours is the Quadrunner and does not have the manual clutch, correct? I don't think the auto clutch machines are quite as picky on oil as the manual clutch models are.
As far as performance, you can't go wrong with exhaust. I personally found a used Supertrapp pipe off an old Warrior for $50, and with a little fab work, it mounted right up and sounded great! Performed substantially better too. You can see some pics and a description, as well as a video of the sound on the website in my link.
Other than that, I know a few people who have put cams in. Nobody knows which one is best though. There's a ton of information on the site on cams as well on the specs page. Not sure how interchangeable they would be with your Quadrunner, if that's what you have, but I can't imagine they'd be too different.

In the video section of the Vault, steve069 has a video of his 230 with the cobra pipe on it.
Well guys, I just threw down on a new jersey and gloves. Closeout MSR gear at Rocky Mountain. Jersey and gloves for $21 plus $7 shipping. Not too shabby!
What do you think, will I look too orange on my DVX?
