85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.
Thanks for the help guys, i'll give her a shot and see how it goes!!
As far as i know the decomp lever is used to as a releave valve for the cylinder lets out "built up pressure" makes it easier to kick over!!
Coted, i got a brand new rear caliper for my machine with new pads, e brake block off and all the goodies for $112 on Ebay, i'll try and find the link and send it to you. Nice caliper to!
I'll keep you guys posted on the quads progress
Cheers

I'm pretty sure I have a handle on the procedure. Just needing the specs.
I'm kinda grasping at straws now. It was just rebuilt... 60 over and new valves n seats. Anyway, it runs good with plenty of torque. Not knowing the valve lash I just put them with a little play and rode it. The thing is it becomes nearly impossible to restart the thing once it warms up. The other day I had it running good, idling nice, so I would shut it off and in 1 kick it would run. I'd rev it up and hit the kill switch and it would fire right back up. So, I let it idle for a while and then lightly hit the throttle and it died instantly! It would not start the rest of the day. The next day I got it started for a while, but it died n wouldnt start. It seems to me I have to do a special "rain dance" to get it to run again (ie take the plug out n look at it and put it back in... Verify the gas is coming out the hose into the carb... turn around 3 times n scratch my head then kick it with the throttle open twice and then 2 more times with it closed and then it would start for a while,,, etc). I have spark. Its thin n blue, but turning 10.5:1 with my hand,,, thats about all I could expect. Carb is spotless. So, I thought I would set the valves where they're supposed to be n go from there. Any ideas?
