Tires for Eiger??
Looking for a new set of tires. I have 2300 miles on the stock ones. I mostly trail ride but, I would like something more agressive when I get in the mud. Just don't want to have fight the machine when I'm trail ride. Looking for the happy medium. Will probably keep stock rims and everything else on my bike is stock except K/N filter. If the weight of new tire causes power loss, I would go to a lighter rim and possibly rejet. Also should I go 26" or stay 25" ?? How much would this affect performance??

Tires for Eiger??
I have 26 inch mudlites on mine. I added a jet kit and that recovered the power loss by going to a bigger tire. Handles great and they don't pull me around. They fit on the stock rims. I have 800km on them now and they are holding up fine. I went bigger to gain a little more ground clearance on the bike or I would have stayed with the 25's seeing they have the big lug now too.

if i were you id stay with the 25 inch..the mudlites arent a very good mud tire in 25 inch...unless the new XT tread or whatever is on all 25 inch tires...i dont know i havent looked at them in awhile..the only thing 26 inch tires will do is about a 1/2 inch more ground clearance and more power loss
