Default How fast can sport quads go? Stock and modified
I was just wondering because somebody told me his slightly modified yamaha would do 95mph.

my modded blaster can do about 63-65 mph n what kind of yamaha does he have

well if you put a 180hp snowmobile or 500hp sport bike engine in one they would do well over 100 with the right gearing

I think it was a yzf450 does that sound right, It only had pipe on it ,I think.

there is no way a yfz450 does 95mph stock my friends did 77mph. He need big gearing and nitrous to get there

The guy that told you that was full of cr@p! There is no way a YFZ450 with a pipe will do 95mph, end of story!

In a recent Dirtwheels they said a stock Raptor with only gearing changes can hit 95mph.

I was wondering about the 95mph story but I haven't riden any sport quad. guess he ws exzaderating. Whow 95 on a raptor ,sounds scarey

Stock a 660R Raptor is good for about 75 mph if you gear it extremely high you might be able to hit 95 but it would take you forever to get the thing up there, it would have no bottom end.
