Default hmf exhaust?

I was wondering what the thought on the hmf slip on exhaust? Also the suggests a 170 main and remove the snorkel. The snorkel they are talking about is on the underside of the lid? Any thought or fedd back would be gret

Default hmf exhaust?

Hi,
look I'm getting one for my 400EX, because EVERYBODY says they are one of the best exhaust available, you should also consider the sparks x-6 exhaust if you have more $, 'cause they only sell the full system.
I do recommend it.. at least it looks awesome

u cant go wrong with an hmf. i have the slip on powdercoated in black and it looks awesome. check out my pics. i have a 170 in mine and it runs great. the snorkel is the thing that comes out the front of ur air box and sits on ur gas tank. i took the cover to that off and the air box lid off and i have stock filter. i am going to get the no-toil filter soon though.

The HMF is one of the best systems for the Z400. That is the main jet the recommend. It is alot bigger than the stock 140, I think. If you throw in an extra 20 you can get the powder coating which looks pimp. You should take you snorkel off. I to my snorkel off and the lid. Goodluck.

I was told to put a 158 main jet on my bike and it'll have a UNI Filter with the filtered air vents and of course a HMF slip-on... you're talking about a 170 m jet for the Z.. i know the carbs aren't the same but do you think that 158 is "good" for jetting mine?
