stock for stock i could out run my brother in laws raptor in drag race!!

 

And of the 2005 models, the Predator should be faster than the Raptor, if they are both stock. Keep in mind, that doesn't mean the Predator will tear up the Raptor and leave it back in the dust. in a stock for stock drag race, raptor wins....barley...on a track preditor wins

 

well i've never lost to a raptor on my stock pred, i can pull hard from 2nd gear on. first gear is usually close. the only time i've lost is when we give er from like 4th or 5th in the higher revs.

 

i have an 03 pred i just raced a z400(stage1 hotcam no airbox wit pipe) 2002 rappy 2002rappy(stage1 hotcam no airbox ,pipe we raced from 3rd gear up and i dusted them i held the lead for about 10sec. at wide open then the modded rappy and modded z400 passed at around 3,4mph faster but the stock rappy may have passed if the road was 10miles long besides that i never seen him till i let off the gas

 

So raptor owners say the Rap is faster and Predator owners say the Predator is faster. These results are typical around here.

 

I don't believe that many people here, if any, actually have an 05 Predator. And the Troy Lee Edition is set up more for racing than before, yet still has the same top speed just accelerates quicker. According to Polaris in their testing, the Predator will out accelerate the Raptor, and will have a higher top speed, too. In 15 seconds, the Predator will hit 73 MPH, the Raptor 70. I think, at the moment, that is the closest anybody can come to the real truth!!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I ride an 05 rap and my buddy rides an 04 pred. Stock on stock I beat him from start to finish of about a 700ft drag strip. Since then we have both gotten slip on HMF's. I opened my air box and got a pro flo K&N and re jetted and he got a slip in K&N and re jetted. Now who ever gets the best jump will win? I am a raptor rider for life but I got to say I am impressed with his pred!!!!

 

um, if im correct the 05 preds were geared down internally, so therefore, raptor would beat it even more in topend than it already does now. and still get there quicker[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
