Grizzly vrs. Magnum 500 - -
#1
Well, After owning 2 Grizzly's, I went out last week and bought a Magnum 500. I have taken a lot of crap from my buddy who has a Grizz. He showed up yesterday looking to ride. I warned him I had to take it easy, becouse I was still breaking it in. It took me 30 seconds to get to a deep creek with a steep bank coming out of it. I made it, he didn't. He dam near flipped it back into the creek. He was screeming for me to get my winch on his machine, while he stood *** deep in the water holding his Grizz from flipping over sideways. Where is a camera when you need one!! Any way, here is my honest opinion of the machines. The Polaris 4-wheel drive puts the Yamaha's away. The Grizz still has more punch. The Magnum has a much better ride, quieter, less shake and vibration. It just seems a lot more refined. I never had 1 problem with any of the 4 Yamaha's I have owned. We will see about the reliability of the Polaris. If there is a weekness, I will find it. So far I really like this Magnum. Were going up to central Mich. (Mio area) in two weeks to give our machines hell. By the way, my buddy had nothing but compliments about my machine when we got back. It was tough to watch him eat crow.

I keep telling everybody that the 4 wheel pulling thing makes a difference, I also own the AC 500 and it does make a difference on the 3 to 4 wheel pulling thing...I think Yamaha has a good bike there if they would water cool it and you could add lockers I tried it out before I bought the sportsman or the AC and it just felt to bulky for the area I ride here in WV...
