Default shock covers?

I just bought new suspension for my scrambler and i was wondering if i should put shock covers on it? Do they really keep out that much mud or dirt? thanks for the replies

They keep tons of mud and dirt out. And you can wash them to keep them looking good.

Another good idea (preference) is to buy black ones, they look better longer....no mater how much mud or dirt you go through. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Do i order the ones for long travel or standard suspension?

I think the 01's have the long travel suspension.

Don't forget to take them off when you wash her, or after, depending on how much dirt you get on it. You should leave them off until the shocks are dry, they will hold moisture in there longer. Other than that, could save you from premature shock failure.

I liked mine alot on my Trail Blazer. Just as a suggestion, I put spray on water proofer for a tent on mine. They were yellow. This helped keep them from staining.
