How do I replace buttons on Drive Clutch?
I agree with you farmr, I don't see how the front buttons could wear out faster than the rear buttons unless there is something else going on in there. The only thing I could think of is that the Heelclicker puts alot more stress on those torque buttons, more side pressure. Not sure but it would be interesting to see this in person to see why the front buttons are wearing so quick.

I think the rear buttons wear out from high torque and many miles. The front buttons, like what happened with my clutch, wore out from far too many deep swims and high heat belt slipping. The primary hates water and will need rebuilt in a short period of time. The bushings that slide on the shaft were also very worn and made lots of noise with the belt cover off. My rear clutch is very tight because my machine has low miles.
I have 6x6 amphibious ATVs over thirty years old with rear clutch buttons that look new.
