Default Quick check for new predator owners

I Just bought a new Predator broke it in and took it out to the dunes. It was kind of rough out yesterday and noticed after some time that I had some play in my axle bearings. The jam nut wasn't loose by hand with the allen nut tight but once I loosened the allen bolt I could turn it by hand. Tightened it up and rode it today and it hasn't seemed to loosen yet, I had a Raptor before and this is a common porblem on the Raptors fromm the torque in sand. As for the problem with my Predator not sure yet if it is the same scenario or it just wasn't tightened correctly from manufacturer. So be aware and keep an eye on it or at least check yours out from dealer.

How do you like the Predator compared to the Raptor??? Just curious since I see you've previously owned one. Looks like an all Louisiana thread we have started here!

As far as handling, jumping, etc. the polaris is much better than hte raptor. The power seems to come on alot faster than the raptor, but I hate thee rev-limiter on it - just like on the bombardier's. Nothing that a new CDI box wont take care of, but haven't found anybody that makes them yet, once I change it I am sure it will definitely be much faster than Raptor. Overall I feel it is better just bummed out that there are no aftermarket parts yet for it.
