Default HPD power for Scrambler 500

I think all you 500 owners that want more power should really take a look at this set up. It makes this bike very quick! I raced one about a month ago and he beat me off the line easily! I did eventually catch up at top speed, but i was very impressed with this bike. Don't get me wrong but unless you have at least 400-500 feet the 400 will not catch up. These lengths are probably a little off, but i wasn't dragging on a flat surface. It was quite bumpy.

Default HPD power for Scrambler 500

My friend at work has a SC500 with the HPD new exhaust, clutch kit and wheels and tires. It is definately an improvement. He still can't beat me in a drag race. It is close at the start but I will slowly pull away. It's to bad you can only take a 500 so far in terms of mods and performance.

Actually, it just a matter of how much money you want to spend. There is a 628cc big bore kit and also a Turbo kit available for the 500.

Who make the turbo for the scrammy and where can i find one?

Has anyone ever ran the 628 kit? Is it really worth the money?
Turbo would definately do it but, for the money, it should.
The aerocharger is not a turbo. It is less than half of what the actuall turbo puts out. I'm sure thou, the aerocharger would make you gain some HP. Just not near what a turbo would do.

The aerocharger IS A TURBO and puts out more low end boost (less lag) than a conventional turbo.

If you want to call the aerocharger a turbo than, I won't argue. However, I have owned turbo vehicles before. They ran boost up to 14 psi. The aerocharger doesn't come anywhere near this. It has better low end because it doesn't have to wait to be driven by the exhaust and it doesn't have to develope near the same boost pressures. I believe that running the areocharger would make a big difference but it is not what I picture in my mind as a turbo.
