I found a pair of CV joint clamp pliers at www.northernautoparts.com but I don't remember the part number, and there ARE different types of these clamps. The ones I got just have two sharp teeth, like opposing fangs, facing each other, one on each jaw of the pliers. I believe you could make a good substitute by heating and bending the tips of a pair of needle nose pliers. I did find that the clamps that came with the CV boot kit I got were a little short and I broke two of them. But auto parts places can get ones in different lengths. Dennis Kirk (www.denniskirk.com) also sells CV boot kits for atvs with the clamps included or you can buy the clamps separately. With the new quad trend going toward independant suspension front and rear, the ability to change boots will be a good skill to have!
