The new RMK 500 mag with the visco lock diff , park gear, lower gearing, heavy duty springs... Anyone buy one yet?? Real interested in what people will have to say about them. I think they will be a real good rough trail and working quad they are out in dealers now. I think that the new diff will work out good but I don`t think you will be able to have 2 wheel drive?

Test drove one yesterday-I was amazed at how easy it steered. It seemed to have real good power for a non-H.O. engine. Handling I thought was excellent. My wife drove it too and was also pleased at how well she could manuever much easier than my H.O. We liked it!

is it true that this new machine is for high altitude only? my local dealer says she will never see one because they are only offered in certain areas of the country. is this b.s.?

The RMK we drove had front and rear rack extenders and bumpers. The dealer is located in central minnesota,no where close to any high elevations. The color was silver.

I read in a post before that is does have 2wd but when asked dealer he said no, but on the other hand he also thought it had the on demand drive when he first got it in so I really don`t know if it is 4x4 only? anyone else know or driven one?

First thing I noticed on the RMK was the missing on -off 4x4 switch. Dealer said it was full time 4 wheel drive. The RMK starts by just turning the key, must have something to do with it having the park feature in the transmission
