ok so i am new to this forum and i have this 4x4 golf cart build going on and i plan on putting a 583 skidoo engine connected to the polaris trans by the polaris drive belt will the trans, front diff and axles hold up also i plan on running 26s or 27s o and i just found out that the skidoo engine is 106 horsepower so i doubt it will hold up does any one have any other ideas for trans front diff and axles thanks in advance

 

there are quite a few snomo polaris quads done. some eliminate the tranny and run a jack shaft. join the gen3usa forum, guys over there might have things to say.

 

There is a guy on you tube with a more powerful 120hp Polaris XP700 twin in his Scrambler. the 583 is rated at only 85hp I think.
