08 sportsman 800 engine??

its a pain to put in but if you take the right side panel off and mayb try to get the throttlebody out of the way loosining the hose clamps you should be able to squeeze the new one in

I think Im going to have to remove the fuel tank and plastics to get to it nicely....

Wow I thought mine was low mileage and hours I got 72 hrs and 1607 miles on my 08 800. Get it fixed up and get back riding and enjoy!

Default hose

switzomatic is right that breather hose has a slit in it from the factory.its there in case the hose gets plugged back by the air box the pressure from the motor can escape through the slit.The little block on the valve cover that the hose hooks to is the leaker most likley.
