Its actually down right now. I'm sending the crank off to have it pinned and welded. I'm also installing some forged piston.

Did you guys make a deal on this yet? The only reason I'm asking is because I placed my order last Friday and it's now Thursday and the order status is still "processing" and I cannot seem to get a return phone call. I'm starting to get tired of waiting and am assuming the parts are back-ordered and no one has called to tell me.

I talked to the place where I placed my order and apparently the parts have to be shipped from Polaris to the distributor and then to me, which wasn't explained to me. Now that I understand that process, I am willing to wait. I just wish it had been explained up front instead of having to call and ask about it.

Parts came in on Friday. I'll attempt to start on this Sunday.

Old Polaris Tech,

Use a lot of heat on what? The flywheel, itself?

Thanks

I also have a 02 700 that seams to have a bad coil. After reading about all the issues on this particular ignition system i think it would be best to go with the replacement kit as well. Could someone please link me to this kit with a part # . I am not seeing it.
Just spent several hours up north in the snow trying to trace problem.
Thanks Russ.

I'm not sure if I can post the store where I bought my kit if they're not a supporting vendor. If not, then just send me a PM.

If it's allowed, then here is the link. Cheap Cycle Parts

I ordered on Friday and got my order the following Friday. I spoke with Rick. He's the manager in the internet sales department, I believe. His hours are noon to 9PM, but anyone there can help, obviously. He treated me pretty well. There was some miscommunication because I didn't understand how their "order status" worked on their website. As you could see if you have read through my posts, I think I jumped to conclusions. He told me I would see my parts last week and he was exactly right

What size are the tapped holes in the flywheel to run the puller bolts into? I need to pick up three today and forgot to get the thread size before I left.

8mm 1.25 pitch threads. Length depends on type puller you have. OPT
