If you got 4in of lift, you had way to big of a spacer installed. Try cutting it in half and add preload to the rear then see how it does. I use the tm2 pregressors ($80) which at it's highest settings will give about 2 1/2in of preload and 2 inches of lift on a 08 sp 500ho when it is at the highest setting. The whole trick is to not actually preload the springs but space it to the point where it starts to preload (remove all the sag both front and rear) and then go up to get the ride comfort you want. If you just space it enough to take the sag out of the front end then you will keep the same ride as long as you do the same to the rear. If you do that the only ride difference you will have is a higher center of gravity, which you will get no matter what you do unless you change to progressive springs. Always remember if you raise one end you will have to do the same to the other to keep your ride. Hope this helps.
