Default ATV RAMP Recommendations

I purchased a 2010 Polaris 850XP EPS, I finally made my decision thanks to all the wonderful members on this forum. I now need to load this big guy into my truck (Ford F-250 with 6" Lift 8' bed. I do have a 10x12 Brimar Dump Trailer however, this is typically being used by my crew, on job sites..

I need some serious recommendations on Loading Ramps. I've read about the bi-fold and tri-fold ramps. I will obviously need to load the ramps in with the ATV in the bed of truck..

If you guys/gals can give me some models/makes that you've had good experience with please let me know..

Check out ebay. I bought a set of steel folding ramps that are super heavy duty and they are arched for easier loading. Used them a lot with on my 03 F250 and they worked great.

Whatever ramps you get, make sure they come with safety tie down straps.

I agree with the others, I'd get a set of LONG arched ramps, with tie down straps

What ever you do just be safe!!!!! I never liked the idea of loading like that, so I just got me a utility trailer. I think and feel much safer that way.

I have the exact same quad and ordered this tri-fold ramp. Rated to 1600lbs and nice and wide. The only thing, I think it recommends a maximum tailgate height of 3 feet. With your lift, you might be over that?

Get heavy duty, as long as will fit in your pickup bed and a folding set if possible. When the two ramps are attached to each other they stay parrallel. I've done both and don't care for the ramps that aren't attached together. Much more stable and no fears of one slipping sideways. PS I got a set of 1500lb. capacity aluminum ramps from Cabelas. They were 7' long but I cut them down to 6'6" to fit in my pickup bed. Nice units.
