310 miles??? Other than that it's been a great machine?????

Axles, control switch and ball joints??

Wow, whats next?

I don't think in 3100 miles you should have any problems.

You have a point, but......... besides the control switch, these are known little problems for the first year model. Hopefully Polaris improves on these things and helps their customers out. I know mine will be down the line when the warranty is out next year. Just have nothing on my mind to replace it with though. The XP is the total package right now, IMO.

I'm trying to be optimistic..yes I'm very upset over these issues and I hope this machine is reliable as I don't have the money to purchase another one.

Yes I'm satisified with both the power and ride, however, it MUST be reliable or I'm selling it, without any questions asked.

It has to be a axle problem off all things$?? What happens when these warranties run out,you have to buy and install a Axel on your own at $300 a pop. Need two Axle after 300 miles, I would be on my tenth set buy now.

If Polaris does not correct this you better hope "Gorilla" makes some quality aftermarket Axle for this ATV soon.

NEVER BUY the first year Guinea pig, we found that out with the 660 Grizzly as well but that was only a boiling gas issue that a recall fixed.

I hope so too, but so far I'm not to impressed with these issues. My Prairie 650 never had issues like this but I'm going to give it some time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it shouldn't matter if you're out of warranty or not with the axle issue. If it's a known defect, Polaris should fix it for free no matter how far out of warranty you are....
Think I've read about several guy who were "out of warranty" getting their's fix at no charge....

Money is tight these days, I think several manufactures will not pay if they can get away with it.
