Default new wear bar

it's from a truck plow blade, just cut it down to size, drill the new holes and then powder coat. it weights alot more but will never wear down . i just put the new springs in much better

That's awesome! Might have to do the on mine instead of rigging up weight on the plow itself. Thanks for the post!!!

No doubt it'll last! That thing looks as thick as my western's cutting edge and I get about 5 years out of it plowing parking lots and driveways. NICE!

If you happen to have a stamped and dyed driveway or some other sort of delicate type of pavement you don't want to scratch with a steel blade you can go to your local materials shop and find some High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) or similar material. That stuff is good for all sorts of uses. Buddy of mine made the skidplates on his outlander out of the stuff.

looks like your edge is upside down. but think the wear bar will out last the wheeler and the plow with many yrs after that left. i have a 1/4" thick bar on my home made plow for the last yr. its only wore off 1/4" useing it every week. for 5months. plus gravel pushing.
