Different strokes for different folks...in the past I've never been a fan of Camo ATVs...Especially not the Polaris Mossy Oak...
Some Camos look ALOT better than others...If the Polaris camo resist scratching as well as the 2010 Can-Am Camo I MIGHT could live with it...so far the Camo finish on mine is WAY more durable than either the Painted green or Stealth black Polaris that I had....I rode several miles through brush yesterday and just knew it would be scratched bad...I could not find one scratch!! AWESOME..

HO,

That is exactly what my Dealer told me when I was suffering with indecision on the colors to go with on my new 2008. He said that both the CAMO and stealth Black were the stongest body colors since they are heat molded. Not sure if the same is true on the new XPs? I came to the same conclusion as others have posted it was more the seasonal hunting thing as to why I went with the Black Vs. CAMO. but again like earlier stated in my opening post IF this was a free give away or drawing put my name down, lol...lol.

If I had paid off my 2008 a while back and had NO negative equity I may have joined the TRADE UP Bandwagon. But I am happy with mine for now and the wife, well lets just say that things are steady as she goes, she puts up with it..lol...lol

Cheers,

R'

I bought the camo because you can take it anywhere through the brush and it doesnt show the scratches. I havent had the xp in the brush yet to see how well it compares to the 05 camo. It appears like the 05 was a film that was placed or dipped on the plastic and the xp appears to be painted on. Besides that you have to accessorize; mossy oak coat, mossy oak bibs, mossy oak boots, mossy oak gloves and mossy oak hat. Have you ever tried to find a nuclear sunset colored coat?

Stealth and Camo are the strongest by far when it comes to scratches. I've had painted and solid through colors before and they don't hold up quite as well.

Funny about the nuclear color.........Wife bought me a Columbia jacket that had a similar color to it. Looked good, but I could never find a hat that would look decent with it.

The browning edition was a great buy, IMO, with all that it came with, but with the others.......doesn't it just kill you guys how they charge so much more for that camo paint?

The only Camo atv that I could actually call ugly was the Kawi camo, but the snow camo looked really cool.

I picked one of these up about a month ago and couldn't be happier. My decision for Camo was not hunting related but as mentioned resistance to scratches which it has held up amazingly well to. I can't find a scratch including where I slide into a tree and bent everything in about 3 inches when riding in 0 degree weather. All just popped back into place and wouldn't know anything happened now. Overall am very happy with the package.
