Default Recoil*Pull Start

Has anyone ever had to rebuild one of these? I just used it to pull start my '04 sportsman 500 and it didn't go back in by its self, it went back in when I revved the engine. I don't know if the spring came loose or not. Just wondering.

Thanks

could be the spring either broke, unhooked or just sticking. you can tell if the spring is broke as if you pull it just a little it should have pressure to pull it back in. you can jujst take off the recoil and repair it or what ever it needs. imo
