Default Trailblazer rebuild project ($25)

UCM gets full credit for revealing this site in another thread and when scanning thru the lists I came up on this poor ole Trailblazer!

I can't help but to think about C3-PO from the Star Wars films.
"Sir, wait, help, help!"

Who would have BIG "enough" male members to take on this rebuild project? lol

Regards,

Can you imagine if someone bought that for $25 and really wanted to build it up piece by piece and came to this forum asking for help?

May go something like this:
" Hello, this is my first time to the forum and can see everyone is very helpful. I just bought a Trailblazer 2002 and have limited parts to start with minus half of rear frame. Can anyone recommend a service manual or send me the download? Also, would I need to be an expert with 4-stroke engines to fix this thing?" lol...lol

That is no Trailblazer. It has a radiator(trailblazer's are aircooled) and the double headlights are a dead give away thats a Scrambler. All the rear end needs is a shock and some tires.I bet if I had the time and the money I could do it

Nice catch Spunk.

If someone did buy it and rebuild it, I can think of a great name for it. Reminds me of the end of the first movie.

If you just wanted one part off of it for your current machine such as a front tire/wheel it would be well worth the $25 or even up to $75. Clutch cover would be worth some $$ along with the rear axle, frame, front suspension. I guess you would have to check with them on the condition of these parts. You wouldnt be out much.

02magnum500 -

All I can say is you have more "faith" than me, lol..lol I stick to my earlier statement
I wouldn't throw one penny after these scraps. If you follow that rest of the web site you kinda get an eerie feeling of "PURE JUNK" that nobody wants.

Maybe and just maybe if you pick thru the garbage scraps you might get a functional or productive part and like you said may value the opening bid of $25 or a little over but I don't suspect any DIAMONDS in the rough here. lol...lol

FUN THREAD!

Yeah, I probably would not buy it for parts myself, but I am sure someone could get somthing still "worthy" off it.....The whole thing just looks bad with all the missing parts....lol
