Default 09 500 x2... what mods recommended?

I just bought an 09 500 x2 and I wanted some of your opinions on what kind of mods I would need to improve the riding experience. I am happy with it right now, but, well you all know, the more the better. I live in NC and ride on pretty flat land and SWAMPY woods.

Well, I have a Big Gun full system exhaust, and I really like it, also if you plow or want to get rid of your front end sag, I added 2" spring spacers, also if you tires are gettin worn, I'd check out the Mudlite XTR's I recently got a set, and I love them, I previously had the radial PXT's, and I wanted to stay with radial's for the smooth ride, but if that doesn't concern you as much, I'd strongly suggest you check out the maxxis zilla's, I've heard very good things about both of them, and I'd reccomend either one

The zillas are a great overall tire. Also check my posts for the reverse override and three headlight mod. Clutching will help out in the mud for more lower end grunt. Heard Big Gun makes a nice exhaust and I run an Aaen which I've been happy with. Front/rear bumpers are nice too. Guess it depends on how/where you ride and how much $ you have to play with.

yeh, I kinda forgot about the 3 light and reverse mods, I got my 3 light mod off ebay for $3.20, and it has worked flawlessly for over 2 years now, also I would reccomend a front bumper for sure, mine and saved my front end plastic several times, and I thought about getting a rear bumper mainly because I needed something to tie down to on my new trailer, but I ended up getting a grab bar off ebay for $20, and I just used stainless bolts to mount it instead of the self tapping screws, for strength

Agree with the above plus an HID light upgrade if you ride much at night.

For the 3 way mod use a relay instead of the diode - more reliable - search the threads.

Congrats on the new Quad.
