Default 05 Polaris Sportsman 500 Ho EBS Clutch mod's

Hi i have a 05 polaris sportsman 500 ho ebs and i want to know what i can do to the clutch or anything to give it better and more throttle response and power. Also i dont want to spend $150-$250 on clutch kits or new clutch. Just a cheap mod.The throttle response on it is terrible its hard to spin tires from dead stop with stock tires on. Thanks, Polaris man With Issues

Sory for not being clear with my post. I can spin the tires i know its not the belt cause it never slips or anything and after you start going it runs good. I just want a primary clutch spring or shims to make the throttle response better. thanks, Polaris Man With Issues

buy putting in a higher rated spring your going to just raise the rpms causing harder launches but if you go to high you will have a hard time going really slow in high gear. imo

i had a heavier spring in my 700 and it made it really hard to drive smoothly, even in low. I do alot of woods driving with guys that drive hondas and while they just put around in second i would be on and off the throttle all the time. I sounded like I was in a motocross race. It would launch like a rocket though. The only reason I would do it in my new bike was if I put a lift and some big tires on it.

change the rear spring and change the weights to a 49g that combo works really good 4 me with the stock and my 27's it wasent to bad either...if u order them just the spring and the weights it wont be over 30 to 40 bucks and it is easy to do.....u will need the clutch puller for front and rear and make sure u seal ur belt box up well also
