Outlander Max does, not quite as versatile as an X2 but that isn't even a choice snce they don't offer it in the 850,nor with EPS...figure if I am going to upgrade might as well get PS...
I Polaris would have came out with an 850 X2 EPS...that is likely what I would have bought.
I just went to the Polaris site and it appears that there is a 850 X2 with EPS listed.
When I click the link I see an 850 Touring....not an X2. Alot of people seem to get them confused...they are different.
This is an X2... 2010 Polaris Sportsman 550 X2 ATV : Overview

FWIW, three days ago I brought home my '09 500 EFI X2 (green). I had the dealer add a Warn AT*30 winch, deluxe front brush guard, front cargo extender bar, and rear bumper * a total of $900+ (msrp) in options.. It was $8300 out the door. Of course, now I get to pay the state of Oklahoma a one*time 4.5% for the privilege of having a title.
I think it's kinda a game the manufacturers are playing. They jack up the list price to outrageous proportions then give you like a $500 discount when you buy it making you feel like you got a great deal. Like wow I just bought this with a $500 discount. When in reality you have paid more than it sold for last year by quite a bit.
Same crap in real estate market these days. What looks like a good deal isn't really all that great most of the time when you look at the prices closely.
I paid 6K for my 07 700 EFI Sportsman a couple of years ago. Brand new from the dealer... I just did not want to fork the extra cash for camo, so I bought the green

I'm not lost, just undiscovered....
Hi Funride, that's the Touring model. It comes with the same wheelbase as the X2 and softer rear springs than the X2. The dumpbed/2nd seat on the X2 is not nearly as comfortable as the Touring model. Otherwise pretty much the same. The X2 was the first Polaris model with the rear suspension that cycles up and back rather than straight up and down. It does make it less harsh, especially for the passenger. The passenger on the Touring probably feels better at the end of the day than the passenger on the X2.

What can be said of this mystery we're in, I have only one answer to give. If Jesus didn't die to be the Savior of my soul, truly, I do not want to live. For what would living be without a meaning and a hope? Precious little more than just some cruel cosmic joke. It's like being all dressed up and there was never even anywhere to go...
