Default XP front storage

Well just sending out a question about how water tight the front boxes are now on the newer Xp models.........With my 2006 I did get some water that entered the front storage(at high speed) through the puddles........(LOL)..........
Came in through the RAD plastic insert cover........Are they still under there?
......Caper..............

No water in mine yet and I have been through all kinds of different conditions. I'm pretty sure it would not do well if submerged but I have washed it with the pressure washer and still the water did not get in.

I don't get any water in from the pressure washer either...........But when you ride the puddles too hard (Hmmm).......I had the plastic cover for the rad cap pop off and the water from the inside front wheels sprays up into the box........Caper............

If you tape up the drain holes on the bottom & ad window seal in the space where the two parts come together it will help a lot. That how I took care my my water & dust issue.

Yes.....great.........The two bottom rubber drain plugs are not a issue for me.....It's just the center rad cover there in your pic..........I really don't think mine is tight from day one .........I have some of that play-doh window seal(gray stuff) ....That may work good?.....Caper............

After a 363 miles trip this weekend with plenty of rain both on the trails as well as 4 hours of rain on the trailer at 65 mph not a drop of water in the front or rear Polaris box.
