Nice pics Fourtrax! Well I tried to hammer out the bent/banged up metal of the tongue with no success. I am going to try vise grips and try bending and shaping it back. Need to do this before I install the coupler hitch.

Notice how the coupler is inside underneather the tongue. I used the hitch pin hole and then had to drill the back hole for the coupler. I took the top strap for the hitch pin and turned it backwards on the tongue to be used as a handle. It works great so I also did this to my Craftsman yard vacuum. No more slop in the hitches for me!
You might need to heat it up with a torch to avoid stressing the metal.. Just a thought.

Wally World, Home doo doo, Lowe's, K-Fart.....any of those stores should have a gas torch kit similar to this:
Just remember to get some paint if you decide to go this route (its gonna burn the paint)
